this was posted on the AF-1 Aprilia board.

I will throw out the offer:

1st Buell 1125R that shows up will get a FREE dyno test complete with EGA. I am interested too in seeing how Rotax's latest spins the roller.

I saw Micah while out riding Sun. and he was asking about the new motor since he said that the 1125 motor was slated to go to Aprilia before some sort of red tape went down. I guess it peaked his interest and now he wants to see what he's missing. I'll swing by there today, I've been wanting to talk to them to see if there's a slip-on that might work for the 25r because of the similarities. I'll keep ya'll posted.

blazin_buell - i find it hard to believe. i mean, from what everyone else says is that buell went to rotax and they joined forces to create this motor, it was specific to buells...well...specifics.

too bad i dotn live in TX, i wouldnt mind a free dyno

I went by their shop and talked to Micah today and showed me the graph for that big bore 1060 and expects the 25r to pull a little more than that stock. We also talked about taking some measurements and fittin' some different performance slip-on extras he's got lying around and seeing what we come up with. He also said any of the other Hellbuellies from Austin could come down and watch and he's going to film and stick it on Youtube. I'm pretty excited about it!

...Yea...I can't wait to do that for free. I ask this...just how many new owners of the 1125R wish to turn their STREET DESIGNED "fiance" (ie...real nice girl with good manners) over to a couple of butt scratchin'...hooded and masked wannabe dyno(???) tuners? And I'm only referring to the youtube video above me. I trust those boys in TX breath the real thing. Time will tell but I'm sure there is an 1125R flying south right now to find out but I doubt it is without a pilot forcing it. Dyno all you want...but there is no proof other than reality and that reality won't be found holding your tools...you gotta be able to use them. Timeslips? Any takers? I'm ready, who's with me? 1/8"th mile is just down the street at Sunshine Speedway, Largo/Clearwater Area, Florida...or 1/4 mile at Bradenton, Florida...Desoto Speedway...comeon...who's game with their 1125R? I got one and will go with you and post the results here. I doubt I'll get many legit takers on this offer but that should say enuff in itself.

Your ready but it will be in APRIL? I read YOU are NOT ready, UNTIL APRIL...I wrote, I"m ready, that means NOW...I'll even chip in 200.00 to HELP get you and your 1125R here NOW. I wish to put an end to the seemingly never ending drama of dyno hype/bench bs +}} all math timeslips and get back to what we can do to help perfect this Buell 1125R in reality conditions. Again, any real, legit takers on the original offer w/o $'s, NOW?

The difference is the AF1 shop has also run the Duc 1098, KTM, and Aprilia 990 and 1060 on their dyno for a valid comparison. There may be 20HP difference between dynos. Dynojets read around 15% higher than the AF1 dyno.}

Good luck. This is BadWeb, where the XB was the highest performance bike on the market until the 1125 came out. Now the 1125 is the GSXR killer. This will not change. Unbiased numbers or reviews will be viewed as part of the vast anti-Buell conspiracy.
