There are other sources than Buell. I think I got a pretty good understanding of the XB system from this board - in the tech forums. Al Lighton, of American Sport Bike has also been a good resource - and now that he is also riding an 1125, I expect the same again. His exhaust report, and the threads it generated, were very helpful in understanding the XB - and, I feel the info in the XB service manual was helpful also, though not a tech manual on DDFI. Delphi is the developer of the DDFI systems. I'll see if I can find anything like a 'white paper', or tech manual, through them.

Jack,
Was there any progress on my bike ? It seems like you got to spend more time with Cody and the other tech, I would guess you're probably more in the loop ?

They act like someone would actually want to copy it and letting us know the basics of when it updates would give away some top secret algorithm.
Maybe not top secret, but officially publishing the fuel mapping and specifics is saying screw you to EPA by intentionally aiding and abetting reprobates like us to break the clean air laws.
They'd get in trouble for that.

How about telling us what RPM band the A/F value update at so our bikes don't run like dog shit going up and down mountains? Ask Al or Kevin what it is like trying to get useful dyno information when you can't figure out if the system has adjusted or not.

Helping us to get the system to actually provide the correct fueling with a stock system at a new altitude or with a new air filter would probably not get anyone put in prison.
