Anyone find any after market saddle bags for this bike yet? Not the Buell ones.

Buellnick, do you have an item number or anything more specific for those bags?

Yeah, I was thinking of the Cortech bags. Have the Cortech Tourmaster bags for my XB9SX. Love them. Big, and versatile. Just don't know if they would fit the 1125R well.

I have a full set of CORTECH Sport Bags... The tail and the saddle bags. I mostly put them on my BMW but the work on my XB and 1125r as well.

See Link provided by Kravfighter (THANKS!)... although funny thing, the saddle bags are not listed in the Cortech website anymore. Maybe theyre dropping them from the line?

High Quality set-up.

Yes indeed... A Buell was the "model" bike.

Too big to attach, link to a pic with them on a Honda.

Looks like what I need for Homecoming this Summer.
Saddlebags and Tailbag too.

Good thing I don't want a Tankbag, theirs is magnetic.
But IT is on a Duc.
Oh, I see, they have an optional strap mount for non-metal "tanks".

I tried these:

At Cycle Gear on my 1125R and it was a tight fit. Positioned all the way back touching the turn signals the front overseat strap is across the back of the rider's seat. The already mentioned top bag is nicely integrated though. I wished it fit better.

I will order the sportbag set with the top bag and see how it works:

Well, how about this. Since the tail section is the same as the XBR models. What do XBR riders use for their saddle bags?

I think these Givi's would look good.

I bought the sport saddlebags and top bag from Cortech and they seem to fit well on my bike.

It cuts down about one inch of rider space. That would not be an issue with XBLights since that will allow positioning the system a little further back. The turnsignals limits how far backward you can move the system.

Overall it provides a reasonable amount of space to tote stuff around and integrates well with the look of the bike.

So now I have a sport tourer!!

And one more view for the heck of it.

Daytona. I did that trip 3 years ago and it was a far piece, but up the coast would be nice. A long weekend for starters.

The Givi's look great, match the flow and color of the bike well. Maybe that is the sport tourning way to go that we have been hearing so much screaming for ...

I ride in bad weather most of the time, living in north west Oregon (seems like it's always raining) so I'm getting the Aerostich Dry Bag saddlebags. Might not be the prettiest but I don't like to put on wet underwear. But that's just me.

XB12XT...Buell is obviously sticking with the Long Wheelbase XB/Uly platform for touring. Fine with me since I bought the 1125r as a Superbike and I use my BMW for long range touring.

The Cortech Bags look good... I have a set.
