Spent the weekend at Jennings GP after picking the 1125R up at the dealer after the voltage regulator was replaced. Took the 12R and rode the snot out of it both days.
I did get one short session of about 7 laps on the 1125R on Saturday afternoon. Even observing the 6,000 RPM rev limit for the break in the bike is very fast. I took it really easy as I was scuffing in the tires, getting used to the bike etc.
I did have the suspension adjusted by Ken from Superbike Italia prior to going out on the 1125R and the bike felt really good even though I wasn't pushing it hard.

Damn that thing looks mean all stripped down and taped up. I can't wait to get mine out to the next track day in my area. Were there any hangups taking stuff off ,like the mirrors and tail piece?

Very nice!
Can't wait to take mine out to the track...
I also remember thinking that this thing is bloody fast even during break-in.

The only hang up I had was on the rear light / license plate bracket, the wiring runs along the outside of the left subframe rails. You have to remove the tailpiece to access the plug-ins, so I'll re-route the wiring slightly to have access from within the compartment under the pillion seat.
This bike is pretty fast to strip all in all.

You bastard, call me next time you're taking it out.
Glad to see they got things straightened out in time.

Captnemo,
Does that pit Bull stand work, or how did you modify it to work on the 1125r from an XB?

Actually, I don't have a set of spools on the 1125R yet and I didn't even try the XB spools on the 1125 because I was too busy at the track.
