Okay,

I live in cold snowy WI, but plan on taking delivery of an 1125r in the next couple weeks. I have about a week off before Christmas, and a cargo van. I was wondering if there were any fellow Buellers within 1000 miles or so of WI that have decent warm weather, and would be interested in doing some riding.

Anyway, just throwing this out there. Anyone that has any ideas please PM me or leave a note on here.

thanks!!

Ken

Well, I narrowed it down to TX. Im looking to hit TX on the 20th of December and leave on the night of the 23rd. Is there any good riding on the east side of TX?

Southeast Texas is pretty flat and straight.

Around San Antonio and Austin, in the "Hill Country" there is much better riding.

Try a PM to Blake, he's a Texan if I remember correctly. I'd love to go riding with him!

Dago and Ortegakid live near Dallas, but I'm not sure if they still have their Buells, haven't talked to them in quite a while.

Tennessee has seen record highs this past week. It was 72 one day. We've got some mighty fine roads here.

Sadly, the weather changes day to day here. It's not uncommon for it to be 70 one day and 35 the next. Just depends on if the wind is coming from the Gulf or from Canada.

It got up to 35 today and the streets were clear. So i went for a few hour ride through omaha. After the ride i tried to pull into my driveway. I still have some packed ice about 3 inches thick. I got the bike about half way but the tire just kept spinning. So i had to spend 30 min chiping a small path to my garage. I was terrified that i would slip and drop the bike.
