I was fortunate enough to take one for the team at Harley-Davidson/Buell of Pensacola and go to Barber also to learn more about the 1125R. I must say that Barber Motorsports Park is one of the most beautiful places on earth and being able to test ride the 1125R on that track was the thrill of a lifetime. It lived up to all the good reviews and proves that Buell is going in the right direction. No longer will Buell be a little unknown motorcycle company, they're running with the big dogs now and the big dogs best not let their guard down. The 1125R is one of the most exciting things to happen in the industry in a long time. Tried to post pics but can't get resolution small enough. Damn high quality digital cameras! Have a couple on our dealer website though.www.pensacolaharley.com Look under dealer staff and Chrome Consultant.

Looked at the Pensacola HD&B website. Looks like you have a nice Buell corner and some Buell knowledgeable staff. That's encouraging to see!
Keep up the good work, and yeah... I was not at Barber, but got treated by Buell to the Inside Pass experience at Willow Springs and it was a fantastic experience.

I could not get to the pics you posted on Pensacola's web site though. Perhaps you can provide a direct link?
Cheers
Asbjorn

No prob, Asbjorn. Glad to help.

The second one has a good view of the bike, wish it was bigger.

I really wish Anony would say how many they've got built and how the startup is progressing. Guess they are all too busy to play on the web...

I want my baby at Thanksgiving, I'm rapidly running out of decent riding weather. Oh, well, she gets here when she gets here.

Zack
Sounds like you are as excited about getting yours as I am getting mine! I've not gotten a specific date from my dealer, but he's hinting at Thanksgiving as well.
Production data is probably something an Anony would be very hesitant in releasing to us for very understandable reasons.

I am obsessed with this bike. My wife is convinced I'm insane and she prays I won't kill myself on it. Didn't help when I told her last night that its top speed was around 170mph... heheheheh

I know there's a few of us here whose wives have about given up on us making any sense until we get our toys. Tough to be a man...

Dude I feel your pain - same story on my home front...but I've learned how to spin the top. Here's a tip: ALWAYS talk about the bike's active safety components, i.e. Phenomenal brakes, balanced chassis, slipper action clutch... so the MESSAGE is that this will be, by far, the SAFEST bike you'll ever own. DON'T tell her that the reason they build all that stuff in is to allow you to turn and stop from 170! You don't wanna put that picture in her head, and if she's anything like my wife, she's NOT reading our magazines, so she only knows what we tell her. I'm not advocating actively lying, it's more about... how to put it... "strategic omission."

:-)

I was giggling in my helmet here... Road America, last month... on an xb12.
