Excerpt:

Q: What are the plans for the 1125R as a platform? Can we expect an expansion similar to the XB models?

A: I think you could expect that we will expand the use of that powertrain into other segments of the market. I think you can expect a similar approach as we have done with the XB. We take a basic platform and make sure that it works right for different segments of the market.

I hope that translates into an 1125Ss next year. I'm already saving up for one.

1125GT, please!

This sucks...

Q: Will we continue to see only sports bikes from Buell? I felt that the 1125R engine could be applied to different models. Sports touring?

A: I think we're going to focus on streetfighters. The products of the brand are pretty well known for it now. Certainly we have dreams about expanding beyond that. We are going to hit the biggest part of the market first before we change into those other parts of the market.

But maybe there is hope???

Q: It'd be great in the Ulysses?

A: Right, I think the powertrain- you have experienced it on the road, and it's a great powertrain. There is still lots of potential in the power train so we plan to use it on a number of future products and expand the offering of that platform (1125R).

Maybe a Uly with an optional fairing...

I hope and PRAY they put the 1125 engine in the Ulysses.

I love my Ulysses. Give it the 1125 engine and the Multistrada, Tiger, and Super Duke will be quaking in their boots. : )

I'm with Jerseyguy, except only one 'S' needed. Any other street fighter would be solidly kicked in the junk in rapid succession.
