Why didn't you decide to add a kick start like I've been asking for in my profile for nearly four years? I put it in my owner survey a few years ago too...

;)

It couldn't be that difficult compared to a friends 96" S&S at 10.5:1... I've kicked bikes all my life and it would give us that don't mind it a way to shed some considerable weight.

BRING BACK THE KICKERS!!!!

Why, in 2007, would you want to kick start a bike anyway? It isn't as if the electric starters are the weak and useless lumps of the 70's is it?

I hated kick starting big twins and always lived in fear of the bloody thing throwing me across the road.

If it don't start first time on the button....give up and take the car. Now where did I leave that cranking handle?

I just got a kicker. I love the simplicity, hate the pain (two spots on the right leg throbbing at this very moment).

I love the simplicity

What's more simple than pressing a button: )

If only pushing a button would get me a woman...

Guess "LOUD PIPES" save lives is out too ???

Then there was that "GROCERY STORE SHIFT"
clutch lever that looked like a shift lever ???

"i" liked those as nobody could steal your ride, "BUT" with a PU TRK !!!

I'd be more partial to the suicide shift and clutch... with my woman riding on the fender and her legs wrapped around my waist : )

I honestly dig the old school... IMO I think it has its place, just not on my 1125R.

"What's more simple than pressing a button

It will... it's just that there are 77 unlabeled ones with knobs, switches and dials interspersed with them. Most are invisible...

You just have to hit the right button... What could go wrong?

Really though... I wouldn't mind having a kick start on my 1125R. I know they're a thing of the past but I'd use it if I had it.
