Too big to post . . 9 pages but I got goosebumps reading it . . .

quote:

One manufacturer after another, desperate to find adequate muffler volume has turned to Buell's solution. High, side-mounted mufflers now look clumsy, even dated"

Ahhhhhhhhhh. . . vindication for all those days I answered stupid "what the hell is that?" questions . . .

I'm going to Barnes and Noble tonight to see if there are some on the shelves yet. Probably not, but I always look for an excuse to ride and I can't think of one better right now!

Thanks! You have no, absolutely no, idea how many long hour days the small teams in ET and BRP have put in to make this a big splash. I'm proud, too.

It is amazing! I think everyone in the world of Buell, beyond just wanting one, is so proud to see the world seeing what the Elves at Buell can do . . .

The accounts I am reading from journalists would lead you to believe the industry has just changed . . .

. . . . perhaps it has!

CONGRATULATIONS TEAM BUELL

It makes me a little misty.

Even after all the years I've seen Erik's undimmed passion, I know he had to wonder if this day would ever come. Congratulations to Erik and all the Buell Team!

Thank you for sharing your vision,
Greg

A huge THUMBS UP to everyone at Buell.

Even if this particular bike was not for me (I *do* like it), there's no denying the talent and passion that went into designing and building it. An extraordinary group of enthusiasts sit down and build the best bike they can - that's the stuff dreams are made of.

Way to go Buell !!!!

Henrik

"America's sportbike gets seriously up to speed"

Did something change or is that speed still made in Austria?

You are confused. The Buell 1125R is made in America.

Sorry if that irritates you.

Assembled isn't "made in America". Sorry if you think that.

You are correct that mere assembly is not the same as being...

conceived in America by Americans,

designed in America by Americans,

engineered in America by Americans,

analyzed in America by Americans,

integrated in America by Americans,

tested in America by Americans,

assembled in America by Americans,

with the entire program/project managed in America by Americans.

Apparently that irritates you. Poor you.

Adapt, improvise, conquer.
Buell was pretty darn smart to get that "Austrian" engine built for their bike.

The world is a pretty big & diverse place. Why not take all the best things she has to offer and built one hell of an awesome bike out of it?

Blake pretty much nailed it.
This bike was born & raised in the USA.
