I placed my order the Sunday of the launch - saw the video online and went to my dealership and plunked down a deposit.

Then went to Laguna just to see the bike in person - I love it.

My only wish list (so far) is to have reasonable luggage for it. The bike was SO comfy - I know I will use it as a sport tourer from time to time. Need at least a clean pair of undies ('cause I know I will soil whatever I am wearing on that bike!). : )

I wonder if the Firebolt saddle bags will fit the new steed?

Try RKA, they always match up their bags pretty quick, and they're pretty durable too. I generally go with a big tankbag strapped on, (no magnets please), a large Dry Bag Waterproof Duffle strapped horsepacking style across the passenger seat and a good size Aerostitch Courier bag for the overflow items. I carry enough that way to camp and tour with about a 4-5 day period between laundromats. I did the soft saddlebag route but like this way better and can carry the whole thing if I have to. A lot simpler too.

I would think that any of the luggage that works on the XB12R would work here on the 1125R. And of course if you are fabbing your own brackets, then the world is your oyster.
