Can the cylinders be bored? If so,what will the maximum bore capability be?(due to the water jackets)

The cylinders are Nikasil-plated, and can't be readily bored. That's not to say an enterprising aftermarket company might not find some way of getting a larger bore in via a bore job and a press-in sleeve.

Heck... she will have to add 30+ horsepower just to get it up to where she left off with the X1...

"The cylinders are Nikasil-plated, and can't be readily bored."

I was thinking that was the case, but you never know...

We may take a little look-see at it...

Pammy,
Boring and then plasma coating the bore might be an option. If the wall is thick enough.

By the way, how's the finger? I don't think I've seen you since that happened at the 2000 BHC.

The finger is great! You can't even tell it was ever mutilated. If it hadn't been for all the great folks at that event, that snafu may have ruined my trip. Everything after the accident is a bit fuzzy...With Ron Dickey entertaining me and my daily dose of vicadin, I made it through just fine. Oh, and ol' Smadd driving me and my rig all the way back home. GREAT TRIP it was...
Hey Ron, I think it was that electric vagina that caused old Hardware to have a stroke!

As for the new Buelli-bob, we will see what can be done if'n we ever get a good look at it.

And Reep, the great yellow beast is undergoing yet another transformation. ;o)

Edited to protect my reputation...

There's a big bore kit for the Rotax 990, which uses a 3mm larger piston (100mm). The Nikasil plated cylinders get reworked (bored and replated) by Millenium. No room for larger pistons than that. The other thing you have to remember is that the piston weight has to stay the same as stock, so the balancers stay in tune. Someone will have to take a good look at the 1125's cylinders to see how much meat is there to bore.

I'd bet that Pammy can figure all that stuff out : ).
