This bike has nearly a 6 gallon tank. With this new engine in place, will it still provide the frugal gas consumption of the older engine? Or, will gas mileage now be more along the lines of the typical liter bike 35 t0 40 mpg?
How many miles can we look to get to a tank?

Has the new DDFI got that "run it economical" rev range that the XBs have?

Lower the revs, lower the fuel consumption is what it seems. But I have to ask, what is the point of getting an 1125r if you are worried about fuel consumption? Making big HP doesn't come free...it's an inevitable tradeoff.

Lot's of people (myself included) are wanting this bike for a sport touring bike, where fuel mileage IS important.

Not always much of a trade off with F.I.
