Can anyone tell me the history of the motor? I put a deposit down last week and Buell sent me the brochure, but it doesn't go into any detail on the motor. Thanks | ||

Mike, There isn't any history, its brand spanking new. Designed by Buell, built by Rotax. It does use some features from other Rotax products like the internal oil filter (like old japanese bikes) finger followers on the valve train (again seen on other bikes), and the dry sump design with reservoir integrated into the crankcase.
