Brochure says the footpegs are adjustable.... Is this correct? I did not see anything on the bike to confirm this. bob |

i think what they mean is that if you look at the actual lever, on the end it looks like you can slide it towards the peg or away from teh peg. i think thats what it is in reference to |

Adjustable toe pegs are a gimmick if you don't also have adjustable footpegs surely? |

When I saw those adjustable toe-pegs, I immediately remembered everyone complaining about the Tubers poorly positioned toe pegs (see pic above) and was very taken away! It looks as if Buell really does listen to it's customers! (Not that I every thought they didn't, but this was the first thing that really stood out to me! Shortly after this, I learned about the new TPS stuff for 08 and about fell out of the chair!) |

bump I have opened the brochure again.... it says in the "Ideal Rider Environment" section quote: ADJUSTABILITY: The footpegs, as well as brake and clutch levers, are all adjustable to meet the needs of individual riders. unquote FOOTPEGS being the keyword here....are they adjustable or is this a typo that should read "shifter and brake levers" ??? so my question remains bob |

I don't know for sure, but from what I see in the pictures it has adjustable levers not pegs. --- A much appreciated addition. |

Bobup, you are correct. Typo or whatever. Is that what you wanted to hear? |

DJ: I had finally forgotten about the 2 pounds and 30 inches of shift linkage on my X1, and you had to put that picture up. I'm going to have nightmares tonight. |

Fresno, sure, but from someone at BMC. there still may be a way to adjust the pegs themselves...its just not obvious...won't know for sure until BMC responds or the bike hits the market (Message edited by bobup on July 26, 2007) |
