Dude, you have to have patience.

The bike came out two days ago. It will be months before anyone (even sponsors) will get there hands on one. It will probably be next spring before any real after market parts start showing up.

From what he has said, you can bet Al at AmericanSportbike has his brain working overtime even with just pictures to work with right now. The Cad program will go on 7/24's when he actually gets a bike. Be patient. Good things will come from all our sponsors here on BadWeb.

We have lots of ideas, but nothing can be done until we actually have a bike to work with. We have been told November for ours so can only twiddle our thumbs and wait impatiently for now. At least it will be winter when I take it to pieces, so won't miss any riding : )

It's cool. I love the bike, bu i think i'm going to wait because i know there is going to be bugs in the bike that need to be worked out. it's in any new bike. so i will continue to study the bike and wait for reactions.

The Aprilia RSV had no bugs right from the start, neither did the KTM Superduke. Both engines had a large input from Rotax, so I would not expect any bugs in this one. Court says that the bike has been testing for a year so any bugs should have been well and truly ironed out by now.

I'll take my chances and let the warranty deal with any bugs that may arise : )

maybe a full faired 1125r? that'd be sweet. but in reply to the bugs. the 07 harleys that came out with the 6 speed trans. they tested those in the 06 fxdb's and now they are having issues. so. i work at the shop and i can see all the issues, but if none, then great. i may get one earlier. but i'm scavaging right now.

Funny you mention issues on the six speed - the only "issue" we see is noise complaints for a "loud" fifth gear. As soon as we explain to the customer that fifth isn't any noisier than the whole 5 speed used to be, it's just that the rest of the box is so quiet....they're fine.

OBC (Obilgatory Buell Content): I also doubt there will be significant problems with the Rotax powerplant, or with the bike in general. Concept is a few years old (think '02 XB) and has most of its teething issues solved. If anything, I look for "loose nut behind wheel" problems from folks fiddling with the new displays and boogering them up somehow (finding a hidden ctl/alt/del sequence, maybe?).

No matter who the techies work for...they still have to get their hands on the bike, or at least the OEM part, for measurements and fitment.
