I would like to personally congratulate Erik Buell and his entire team for a job well done. This is a great step forward, not only for Buell but for America. It's about time an American motorcycle company stepped up and showed the world that we are still capable of designing and manufacturing a world class performance product.

Without a doubt the 1125R marks a new beginning for Buell, this product finally provides a competitive platform for both superbike racing and sportbike sales.

My hat's off to Erik Buell for having the vision, passion, desire and also the patience to carry out this dream.

As for the Roehr superbike project, I still believe that it has merit, I am continuing in it's development and search for a financial partner. We are currently developing a special version of the Revo engine which now displaces 1190cc with 170hp, this will be our standard engine configuration.

Again, congratulations to Erik and team, as well as all you Bueller's out there who've been waiting so long for this, your dream has arrived.

Walter Roehrich

Walter:

Thank for your kind words. Erik is in Nashville, wound up like a top.

I have forwarded your comments to him.

Thank you for the kind words. This is an accomplishment for American engineering.

Thanks again,

That is very nice and very classy of you to say so Mr. Roehrich. Best of luck with your ongoing efforts. Some of us understand a bit just how difficult creating and commercially fielding a new motorcycle of any kind, let alone a competitive sport bike, really is.

A note to Mr. Roehrich,

Wow, I see that there are more and more Class Acts in the world of motorcycling. Best of luck in your endeavors, and when the time comes to purchase a new sportbike arises, I hope to see your name as an option. Guys like you make we the consumer happy to do business. There are a lot of jerks in this industry but you Seem to have more class than most. Thank you if for no other reason than being cool.

What a great time to be alive and active in Motorcycling. Many of us have waited for an American company to step up. The future looks bright indeed. If my recent Ulysses purchase had anything to do with this new model, I am more than happy to have contributed to the cause.

Thanks Erik!

Way to be Mr. Roehrich.

Thank you for the kind words for Erik and the engineering team. It's rare that the consumer gets a chance to see that sort of display from people in the industry.

Blake...

Thanks for the website : ). It's the only place I've ever found that showcased this sort of discourse. Bravo.

Walter, very, very, very, cool!!! Do you ride or own Buell? Cause you have the attitude that I believe most Buellers have! Doesn't matter if it is what one person likes or not, it is the whole experience for the individual! Keep your calender open for next March. Be cool to see you at MBV and talk about how far you have gotten. Good Luck!

the "golden era" of motorcycling indeed!

how cool would it be to have multiple american superbike manufacturer's duking it out on the world stage. keep pushing Mr. Roehr, those that have any idea how hard it is to actually make something are rooting for you(and a couple of others, Fischer, Cysz, etc.)!

Anything that helps push the envelope of sport biking is likely to be a good thing.
