I dunno but I'm stuck on the 798 faring and headlight and really think Buell wouldn't copy someone else's look. The Yamaha R6 and R1 have the same horizontal lighting as the bike in the video, as does the 798. They all look completely different though. I definitely think the styling is unique enough. I can just imagine the "buzz" going around at homecoming right now. Do you think anybody has checked in on badweb since the link was posted? Now maybe next year they'll have a legitimate sport touring bike with a nice big motor. If not, maybe the 1125r motor in a Uly. Can we start the "What's new for 2009 thread" yet  | ||

Looks like 7/7/07 is a lucky day for us Buellers! Did my 2007 XB12R just become unsellable? Dang, should have kept it in my pants last November. I'll miss not being told I have a headlight out....  Demo rides are fun, but the 35-40 mph speed limit stinks.. BTW, I'm jumping line, the demo ride line forms behind me! | ||

When's BadWeb gonna' get a 1125R board??? Is it a XB1125R? or just Buell 1125R now? Hope the former so we can welcome all the new riders...There's a certain number of riders on this planet, gas prices, economy, and world chic all favor new bikers. But not many actually ride daily. And the ultimate price for freedom is fatality--how many will choose to take the risk? 1125R--Definitely not a new rider bike. So who new will buy one? And that blast is just too small for a grown man. Why don't we get the XB525R program rolling next. Rotax single, 275lbs. Ultimately, I'm looking for a Buell Electric"250" someday charged by the solar panels on my shops roof. I hope we kick some jap and duck butt with this new arrival as we look forward towards a sustainable future. | ||
