Not for long, I have salvaged KTM orange parts coming, that I will need to fab brackets for. All my girls are orange and dirty. No Blue Smurfs allowed in the garage.

I got it for a song, 2500 plus the governors tax scam. The orange and the lights are gonna set me back another 400

The Drz400 was too heavy for the single track and my short legs and my riding ability. (I know my limits)
the CRF230L while street legal was way under powered at 70 mph to get to the trail
The CRF250X, Nice bike, but the battery, stator combo wont run the lights that I need to be street legal.
All the KTMs that I looked at (used) were butt hurt expensive. and I didnt like the maintence interval of 1000-1200 for oil changes, thats an oil change every other damn week. Not into that .
The WR has better dealer network out where I ride, a couple of friends have them, and well they seem to perform with our riding style quite nicely.

So yeh Yamahaoouchie. Pics when its orange.

You just order the OEM parts for the street legal version for the equipment, the bigger issue will be balancing the load to not kill the stator; probably gonna have to go LED & HID to keep it down.

I guess the name to carve on the head stone is Griffen. Sorry to see you go, shame that you never got to fly.
