Dennis, you mean for a track day? Information is posted on the site. I'm about 2 hours south of MidO.

@Hughlysses
Great interview of Erik by IB. I believe I heard Erik mention "dual sport" as a potential next generation EBR (if funding is there). That would definitely appeal to me. Thanks for posting the video.

Dennis, heres the Mid-Ohio schedule. Give them a shout. Having a half dozen or so EBR guys there to do the track day would surely convert some of the other riders to EBR. With sales comes upgraded technology and the new models everyone is clamoring about... http://www.midohio.com/School/Courses/Motorcycles/ Performance-Track-Riding

The most important portion of that video related to the dealer selection and marketing model. It's the greatest hope to pull this iteration off an it appears they are executing it flawlessly.

Those really are amazing looking bikes.

Awesome video! That is exactly the kind of advertisement that EBR needs. If all continues to go well, I'll plan on buying an EBR for my 50th birthday in a few years.

Super nice interview....

As far as the middle class model ...

There is an engine already in the Rotax's range, a 900cc 2cyl inline, and EBR has worked with the Austrians before. This 900cc engine was based on the popular 800cc engine designed and built by Rotax and used succesfuly by BMW for street and Dual Purpose motorcycles ....The 900cc engine has already been used by Husqvarna on the Nuda model, which was in the same category as the Ducati Hypermotard 1100cc. All the tests said that this engine was much better than the Ducati's engine........ I wish we see something like this for a 110 rwhp EBR..... I would guess that this 900cc parallel twin engine is cheaper, lighter and more compact the current 1190 V-2...

My Buell Uly has something like 103 hp peak power delivery and weighs something like 500 lbs. A lighter dual sport with similar hp? Sign me up!
Panhead_Dan is correct, should have said 425lb dry weight for a Uly.

Here's another video on the RX that 650 ib bought:

It showed up on Youtube as a suggested video while I was listening to the William Tell Overture.

Interesting. Sounds like that rider is a bud of 650ib. He seems pretty impressed with the bike.

That's a good way to grow sales, I think. Word of mouth and Demo rides are the best way I know of to get people to buy. Especially when the bikes are as good as the EBRs are.

Hhmmmm.. RX $13,999 or SX $12,999
Requires some thought but the price is definitely magnetic.

Precisely my thought ...... "About 1/2 the price of an RS"

It's like choosing twins a blonde and a redhead ........choose both at the same time and you'll never regret it.

Those are amazing videos and potentially the most powerful took in the EBR marketing quiver at the moment.

They also do a nice job of showcasing Mike K's gregarious personality which has sold a lot of EBR products and helps get him out there as one of the "faces of EBR".

I hope someone at EBR is sending dealer communication out with a listing of the various links. Imagine a potential customer calling to schedule a visit and prior to the visit the dealer sends a friendly introductory e-mail with some of those links,

They play their cards right . . . this can work.

I was looking closely as I could at Erik's SX. He's setting it up as a "Touring" bike. I wonder if Hepco & Becker would be interested in making mounting racks for it?

I loved the demo ride I took on the SX a couple of years ago. I dunno; maybe I could live with a chain... I'd still prefer a belt, though.

I really like the red. If I do get an SX, that's the color I'd want.

I loved that Erik's personal bike is an SX with "old man" bars on it! Maybe that will influence his next model! There's a lot of us "old men" out here that would love a sport tour with just a little dirt bike in it to get off the main drag! Until then my Ulysses will take care of me.
