I ordered the parts below.

1 P0426.1B7 Support Fuel rail Left
1 P0427.1B7 Support Fuel rail Right
1 P0275.1B7 Fuel Manifold Assy, Shower head
2 A05016.2CCZ Screw M5-0.8
1 P0221.1B6 Fuel Rail pressure sensor
2 P0423.10B5 Injector retainer
2 P0026.1B6 Injector Deka VII
2 A05012.2CCZ Screw M5-0.8

The parts total was $487.83 and the shipping to Horsham, Pa. was $54.41. Now, I don't know what the retail price is, but that seems pretty high to me and the shipping cost is over the top to Pennsylvania UPS. All those parts would fit into a pretty small box I think. Then again, maybe Marissa sent me a whole Throttle body assembly. I guess I won't know until it arrives. Note.....I did not receive an itemized invoice, so what the individual parts prices are, I can't say.

I kind of hope, that at minimum, Bruce might be in a position to fill in some parts manufacturing gaps if he hasn't had enough of us already.

we'll get a bit of a peek-a-boo at something that's been hiding behind that curtain.

If you mean what I think you mean, I REALLY hope you're right.

If I am not mistaken Court posted that EBR was a month or so away from announcing something special. 2 weeks later they announced the shutdown.

So we are either on the verge of another shutdown announcement or something neat might have been waiting awhile to see daylight

The company Bruce Belfer is associated with manufactures light fixtures.

From Bloomberg: Atlantic Metals Group LLC fabricates metal products for architectural, lighting, and other uses.. The company is based in Farmingdale, New Jersey.

SOURCE: http://www.bloomberg.com/research/stocks/private/s napshot.asp?privcapId=308969930

EBR frames came from a bit of a circuitous vendor trail . . . at one time, after manufacturing was brought to the USA from Italy, they were built in steps at various vendors. That goes back to the Buell days and may or may not presently be accurate.

At the show, they said that got mothballed pretty hard and they would be spending some time getting back on their feet.

But one can expect that they'd not be spilling beans either.

Interesting info on the parts front:

AF1 posted yesterday that out of 3 pallet loads of radiator/oil cooler sets they acquired from the manufacturers, they've sold all but 17.

On The 1190 owner's group on Facebook it was mentioned LAP is starting to sell out of some parts such as rotor mounting kits and fixed foot pegs. Even more interesting is that a former major player at EBR, who now lists his employer as Polaris Industries, chimed in on the thread and told people not to worry, more parts would be available.

I'm guessing that the majority of the AF1 radiators sold will be used as 1125 upgrades.

Doubting that Stevel, judging from ebrforum and the 1190 facebook page, the majority of active owners bought at least one set.

I bought 3

Interesting to see how you restart production in what, 40 some days, when you are running out of parts........

Ponder this:

LAP is hinting that production of EBRs is starting back up yet they do not seem to be contacting the vendors who made the pieces for EBRs. As an example the company that made the EBR radiators just liquidated all their stock at blowout prices. Why would they do that if production was really resuming next month?

Something just doesn't add up IMO.

Now Dan, you say "too much speculation", and then you ask us to speculate, so I will. Perhaps they already have enough parts at the factory to complete all the motorcycles they intend to build in the 2016 production run. It makes sense LAP might be willing to allow production to resume under those conditions.

Oh yea, apparently there are still more EBR radiator sets sitting at the manufacturer as AF1 said yesterday they had sold most of their original order so quickly they are considering getting more.

I suspect the parts thing is very difficult to speculate about.

I have heard rumblings that one of the problems was that EBR forecast making something like 3,000 bikes the first year and bought parts accordingly.

I suspect they made only a couple hundred . . . again, tough to tell as folks get "Hillary like" when pressed for facts.

My bet is that there are parts out the ass somewhere.

One BIG problem, with regards to starting any sort of production is that you have to have EVERY PART . .. yep, one silly label, warning sticker or tail light and it is not a "complete vehicle" and can not be offered for sale.

In the past, Buell has had the "hospital" where "mostly done" bikes live waiting on back ordered parts.

But . . this is all speculation as no one is saying anything and all we are getting is "something sexy is right around the corner" (today's version of the 4 year refrain to "here comes the AX") and coy, well crafted, answers.

I get the impression that LAP has no intention of "running" anything and I've seen folks speculate that they have a major buyer. But, any of those folks could have bought sooner and cheaper.

It's all a guess. . . . . lots of speculation . . . few facts.

Buelliedan, you've been consistent in your skepticism and I can't blame you a bit.

Court- Every time I think things are looking great for EBR and that you're VERY optimistic, you post something like the above. When you posted "I suspect there will be some big new[s] soon" on Tuesday, was "good" news not implied?

I'm not seeing where there is ANYTHING bad in the above . . . just the reality of producing motor vehicles in the USA. I've previously posted some of the rules and regulations.

I am an optimist based solely on my gut. I've known Erik of the better part of 30 years and he lands on his feet, not due to luck, but because of his skill and determination.

I am attending a "Think Tank" that I participate in next week. The essence of the research, at Rockefeller University, is that the greatest determinate of a persons success, in any pursuit, is "grit and self-dicipline". . . . not IQ or intellect.

Erik Buell has more damn grit and self discipline than anyone I've ever met.

But . . . after being idle for a loooooooong time . . . I am quite well aware that this is not a "walk back in and flip the lights on deal". I mean they have to build a production line and then come up with something to produce.

I am heartened and amazed when hear that Job #1 will roll down the line in the next 2 weeks.

My bet, for that to happen, is that someone much bigger than LAP or EBR is involved. I figured Harley-Davidson at one time but have nothing to confirm or support that.

Old times have heard me harp for over 22 years . . ."once you have a great, well engineered, well tested and sorted out motorcycle that is ready to be produced . . . . you are 3% of the way to having a motorcycle company"

It's a lot of work.

Erik Buell can do it.

By the way . . . and I'm confident Erik would tell you the same thing.

If you saw the names of some of the folks who showed up at the Chicago IMS Show . . . . you can see that the best of the best are re-boarding the U.S.S. Buell.

Some of those names are key and the very ingredients that will make this thing work. When Ed Laben and Steve Anderson show up in the same place . . . . sumpin' gonta happin'.

It will definately be a long uphill road they have to climb if they are ever to make bikes again. It will need somebody with a ton of perseverance and deep pockets and a passion that overides common sense.
