One thing I noticed- he had some complaints about the bike, but unlike the guy in Motorcyclist, he said the fuel injection is perfect.

I almost mentioned that. That seems to be the consensus. Motorcyclist being the lone dissenter.

Maybe Mortorcyclist was actually criticizing the particular traction control setting they were at, but incorrectly blaming the fueling.

Yeah, with the traction control turned up, the throttle cut could very well be attributed incorrectly to bad fueling. I sort of thought this was the case when I test rode one then I played with the settings on mine, and it became obvious.

On the street TC at about 3 is money! Aggressive hamfisted riding on the track 6. Smooth high grip street riding 2. Smooth but aggressive track riding between 2-4. I try to keep revs up no lower than around 5K on track, and from 6-7k you have enough power to launch yourself to the moon on dry pavement with the TC at anything below 6 if you get greedy. I find 2 the best compromise. It will still wheelie 1-3 if you snap it WFO from any rev below 8K but be smooth at you build speed faster than you can comprehend. The higher settings <10 are too intrusive in my opinion, but perhaps they are the equivalents of street and rain modes on other bikes.
