Firstly, are there any EBRs racing in the SuperBike category or any 1125R's in the 200, etc?

I have not been reading anything that points up what or who the entries are and when they are to be testing.

I have been a bit out of the loop. If the weather is good, I just might ride down again from Wilmington, NC on the Ulysses.

Yes, at least two (3 maybe?) 1190's racing in superbike.

Interestingly, the EBR Team transporter is on it's way to Daytona, according to a post on FB.

The trip would be over 500 miles in the 60 degree rain (all the way down). I did that all the way back from the debut of the 1125R at Daytona (2009?) in one day, in the rain and on the Uly. I could see about two car lengths so I stayed in the passing lane and pinned it. Thank you God. This time I will put it in the Sprinter van and get there alive to meet with our son. See you there

If I get a chance it will be to see the 11am SuperBike & 200 tomorrow at 1pm. I forget, if I ride in can I park the Buell on the inside of the track. What's the place place to view from there. Can I ride into the Bud Bristro, lol?

Watched the Superbike race with the EBR's. Next year I need to find a better viewing spot. I was in the fan zone area watching from the bleachers behind pit row just by the start/finish line. Can't see too much of the race from there, but exciting seeing their speed. The EBR's sound great, was cheering them on, but it was not to be. I think Cory blew his engine at the end. That's what the EBR tech said. Got chance to see the 1190RX up close. They are beautiful, but I might be getting to old for those ergomonics. Had to ride the Super Glide. Having battery problems with my tubers. But it was nice to be able to shed some layers on the way back n tore in my Tag.

I wish my bike had a trap speed of 186 when it blows up. That is down from the 190 to 192 that Cory was turning in the previous laps. BSANorton that is what the sx an ax bikes are going to be for. Us seasoned riders that can't take the crouch. Thanks for the pictures.

what's the news on the SX and AX? I'm a little behind on the info...I'll start to look. If it's like the Triumph Daytona compared to the Sprint with a more relaxed position, I'm in! The bikes I saw were gorgeous!

In an interview in Cycle News last month, Erik said the SX is "not far away" and the AX "will be coming a year or so from now". He also says "we have a whole range of bikes we're working on".

What has been hinted at is the SX will be the open street fighter M2, XBS replacement. The AX will be a Ulysses adventure bike replacement. A lot of that is conjecture by us and the motorcycle media. I need a replacement for my M2 so I am waiting and watching.

No longer hints; Erik himself specifically says in the article I linked above the SX is the street fighter and the AX is the adventure bike.

an M2 is no "streetfighter", that's for sure!

the "standard" may be upheld by the SX, or not

I imagine that a 2015 banana-seated EBR is unlikely

I would think the SX more 1125CR than Cyclone.
