Does anyone know much about the 1190RX traction control.

Thanks in advance,

...and one of those settings is "off".

I do not know why there is not more info on the traction control on EBR's website. Looks like it would be a good selling point.

There will be LOTS of information. Be mindful that a SMALL group of people, albeit growing rapidly, introduced this bike less than 3 weeks ago.

There is a huge audience of folks who, for four years, have been clamoring for "what's Erik going to do next?" information.

The 1190RX has potentially raised the bar and you can bet there are tons of questions . . everything from "where's my closest dealer?" (changing daily. . that number can be expected to double by year end) to questions about dealers stocking certain colors. All efforts, at present, are focused on shipping . . . the RXs, I think you'd agree, will make dandy Christmas (isn't it nice to be someplace we can still use the "C" word?) gifts.

Detailed information on all elements of the bike, including the amazing traction control system.

I suspect that within a matter of days . . .we'll be seeing some in depth tests by magazines who are similarly screaming to get their hands on this beast.

I got the new Cycle World in the mail on Monday and was disappointed to see nothing about the 1190RX. Hopefully it'll be the cover story next month.

Personally I hope they really do their homework and have EVERYTHING sorted out with the production models before they ship one to a journo for testing. The 1125r got hammered by the moto press at launch because of nigglling issues that weren't fixed in time to meet HD's release schedule. They've had 2 years to test and develop the RS, so hopefully this time the launch will go smoothly. And yes an RX would look nice next to my nativity scene!
