from that platform you could create the UJM Lego stylings of

Cafe
Scrambler
the guys over at Ryca have had good success with their renditions of the Suzuki single thump.

fact or fiction it is still a good looking bike, just slip a timing chain through the push rod tubes add an overhead cam four valves and about 50hp at the rear wheel and I'm in for one! just keep it as light as my old blast and bore the case to accept a big twin cylinder from the factory for later upgrades lighten the crank and run a titanium connecting rod fuel injection and let us use an ecm spy type programer to turn up the rpm to 8500 or more safely!
oops just made it into a world class screamer instead of an entry level bike without selling lots of replacement parts |

Just as much of a "toy bike" as the Blast is. Which, certainly, is how it's regarded by a lot.
Funny, really, since it's the one my wife & I fight over. We both want to take it to work some days. |

Being between bikes now, if HD were to bring this out in 2014 I would highly consider getting it. |

It looks great, but the as I understand it the Blast engine is way down on power and vibrates too much.
If they could at least isolate out the vibration and sell it as a cafe/scrambler, instead of the "Harley with it's iconic V-twin rumble and vibration." or whatever the current HD adspeak BS is....
Just build a damned motorcycle instead of a Harley for a change. Motorcyclists may actually buy it. |
