Roaring huh? . . . .

Safe to say our friends at HD are drawing lots of attention in the last 48 from the stock analysts . . .

quote:

“Maybe we haven’t done as a good a job communicating the magnitude of this,” Keith Wandell, Harley’s chief executive officer, said in an interview. “Shame on us because we had some issues in the quarter that precluded us from producing as many touring bikes as we would have like. Are we disappointed? Absolutely. Are we discouraged? No. Every day, we get further through.”

Was in a Harley dealership a couple of days ago. Had not visited this dealership (one that I particularly like) in quite a while. They were slam full of used motorcycles. I had never seen them with that much stock on the floor. Very few new machines were there. I found that much stock on the floor, at the start of winter unsettling.

Harley had a strong 4th. quarter and is doing well in a tough economy, both in the U.S. and overseas. Results were released today. You've got to give credit where credit is due and besides, we want a strong HD for America and for Buell parts/service. : )
