2008 will mark the end of the career of one of motorycling's greatest designers when Massimo Tamburini retires as head of MV Agusta's engineering and design center, Centro Ricerche Cagiva (CRC) on December 31...

...Given the timing of the announcement, there is speculation that Tamburini is retiring from motorcycle design because of Harley-Davidson's recent acquisition of MV Agusta. Further fueling speculation is Tamburini's plan to "pursue design interests outside the motorcycle field" according to an MV Agusta press release...

Unless HD is only going to use the factory as a assembly point for HD/Buells to get out of import duties...
