Pic of the new Buell Dirtbike is at the following site

http://www.mcnews.com.au/NewsArchives/2007/March/buell_dirty_updates.htm

Go to the NEWS section and it should be fairly close to the most recent article.

Added direct link to subject page at www.mcnews.com . : )

That's a doctored pic of a CRF450.

I suppose they do look similar considering they are both dirtbikes........

They don't look very similar when looking side by side though.

Put them side by side and look at them closely. The frame on the "buell" bike was simply drawn a little wider. Look at the heat shield on the header and the brake lever.

They doctored a pic of a crf450 and just altered the plastics a little. Its a photochop, guaranteed.

There is a thread about this over on ADVrider. Seems like MC News could have invested a little more effort in the photoshop. The tank section doesn't even look finished. I just hope the real bike will come in a street legal version with a "Buell like" maintenance schedule not a rebuild every 5 hours. A competition bike is fine I'm just looking for a Buell version of an XRL, DR/DRZ, KLR, etc.

I seriously doubt we will see a "street legal" version for the first couple years at best, the dealer show they were VERY Specific about it being a full line of "COMPETITION OFF ROAD MOTORCYCLES".

Enduro, supermoto and motocross.

Baja Designs is well known for street light conversion kits for off road bikes, so just plan on buying an enduro and doing the conversion.
