I have received personal replies from both:
Stuart Wells of Trev Deeley Harley-Davidson/Buell,
and from John Warr of Warr's Harley-Davidson Buell.
These were not form letters they are reading the emails and it does make an impact.
Let them know loud and clear that we want to see more of their teams out there on the track!

I know the incessant cheer-leading grows tiresome, but they are making the decision right now whether
they will continue FX racing or not.

Make a difference!

I just received e-mails back from a Mr. John Warr and Volker Schiermer I think the spelling is correct. Both of these men wrote me back thanking me for the letters I sent them regarding the XBRR and Daytona.

I too have received responses back from Mr. John Warr and Mr. Volker Schiermer when I sent them a note thanking them and their rider for putting Buells in the 2006 Daytona 200!! How cool!! Mr. Schiermer indicated there were interested in continuing to race in the FX class in the USA.

Thanks to all who took the time to write. I think the letter I got from Harley-Davidson President James Zeimer pretty well makes fools of the "they'll pull the plug on Buell Racing" naysayers.

Harley-Davidson is heavily committed to supporting Buell Racing and your letters help.

Also, thanks to those who've been writing Jeremy McWilliams. and the dealer sponsors. I've had an ongoing dialogue with Mr. Warr and they were bowled over with the enthusiasm of Buell owners.

If HD is so committed to supporting Buell racing, then they need a factory effort. The situation in light of the "no XBRR at Barber" disclosure is appalling at best.

I've not heard anything other than salacious gossip and pure speculation seeking to connect the resignations/firings at AMA Pro Racing to the Buell FX/XBRR effort, none whatsoever. Anyone know any different, I'm all ears.

The real reason for the resignations and firings has to do with another entirely different and much less petty issue. The truth is out there should you wish to find it.
