I read that last night. It seems to me he is slamming the Soup article that came out about three weeks ago http://www.superbikeplanet.com/2006/Feb/060221o.htm

Xlcr, John along time ago on a planet far far away didn't you do some testing on one of Allen Sputhes dual carb aluminum sportsters. I think that monster was in an old Lawwill frame. How was that thing as a race bike? how loud was it? and would that thing go 170 mph?......Thanks....STEVE |

Oops! Sorry, but I'm not John. He posted this on his site as an open letter to the motorcycling public. I just thought I'd try to spread it around for him. Please avoid pasting copyrighted articles from www.roadracingworld.com. John sent me a nice email asking that we refrain from that, so please let's honor his request. He's a friend to all motorcycle racers and a man of true integrity. A hyperlink to the article will get the job done and provide the RRW site the traffic it deserves as THE pre-eminent source for moto-racing news and information.
Like I've said so many times before, if you enjoy expert reporting on the moto road racing scene along with the most in depth technical reviews of all the new sport bikes, you should be subscribing to RRW. It flat out ROCKS!

Adams has his own axes to grind.
1. His website used to be called amasuperbike.com. When AMA wanted to use the name, he had to give it up. Much of his vitriol toward AMA started then.
2. His bills and salary are paid by advertising on his website. The bulk of the ads right now are Yamaha and Honda. I'm sure it isn't lost on him what could happen if he bites the hand that feeds him.
