Kinda cute that the only group monitoring Buell testing closer than 2 Japanese manufactuers are Buell fans.....

I don't know about that, given the state of the art in Corporate Espionage. However, the way that they're reacting to the XBRR sure give me hope.

Yeah! Some of these anony's respond to what they perceive to be an attack like they are some sort of alpha male testostorone filled ex motorcycle racer or something, the posers! ;)

And when you attack something they may have devoted the last two decades of their life to building and shaping, they react like you insulted them personally or something! Geesh! Whats up with that? ;)

And for the record, there will always be ambuiguity. Anonys can't post from work, their network security folks (my day job) will pin them to the wall in half a heartbeat. They have to post from somewhere else. Custodians are using their best judgement when vetting the posts, and deliberately keep much of the process unpublished to make it harder to scam.

Yeah, some of them can get cranky. Like you or I never do?

Exactly, sheesh anyone puts anyone else on a pedestal deserves to be disappointed !!

I hear about they're representing and so should be held to different standards, blah, blah, blah !!

Like someone else said I read anon posts, but since I don't know who they are I tend to read the replying posts of folks I know and trust and pay more attention to that !!

My opinion and it's important to me !! : )

Here it is from the horse's mouth (or the other end, if you prefer, Sacborg). Erik did not crash an XBRR, in prototype or production form. And, as was stated truthfully before, it is true that no one has yet crashed an XBRR in any form. Really. Erik did fall off a bike testing experimental parts, but it was not related in any way to an XBRR. And that's the facts.

So, why the over-reaction from the prior anony post? Maybe because the initial report came from a guy who is constantly saying that Buells don't handle and that all the Buell technology is BS, so the poster assumed this was the start of another attack? And, Fireman, you are a good guy, but you are too defensive of a few folks who may not deserve it. But that's just my opinion, and certainly not necessarily a fact.

Never a bad thing to defend your friends from the sort of attacks I have seen here recently. As I said before, disagree as spiritedly as you like, but when it stoops to the sort of stuff that was being posted here it is not acceptable--from anyone.I would take Vik or Blake to task for that kind of behavior.

spiritedly ?

spiritedly ?

I thought I was the only one allowed to wordmogrify the language. If you start too, it will promote confusion.

What in the good name of sanity will happen if suddenly one of us begins to post anonimosiosoly?

Please. . . .

spiritedly ? . . . been a while since I fined anyone. Don't make me get nasty!

Thanks, anony. I'll buy that.

I'm not looking to discredit the XBRR. Race bikes crash. Period. Josh Hayes wadded up his 600RR not too long ago. This speaks to the nature of pushing it and does not mean anything is wrong with the bike.

It is more than likely that an XBRR will crash this year. This is racing and at the level Buell is running, the riders of all brands and pushing beyond what most people could even imagine.

I'm excited to watch Daytona. FX desperately needed some life breathed into it.

From yet another anonymous poster, who hasn't posted here for several days:

Testing in Texas went extremely well, as the radar operator isn't allowed to tell you. We could have done without the rain on Friday.

Who by the way was NOT a Buell employee a perfect example of how some folks must be ANONYMOUS yet are not Buell employees.

This making sense now?

See? Take a guess. . . *if*. . you had **ASSUMED**, you' have been wrong. . . . admit it.

Too many people assume "anonymous" is a single person. Maybe it's getting straightened out.

Like any posts on the internet, some I'll listen to because they have credibility - others are just ignored.

spiritedly ?

Did this come from the Department of Redundancy Department?

And there you have it, the answer to the title question of this thread. Thanks Anony! : )

WOOOHOOO! GO BUELL RACING!

But somehow I'm thinking the folks here will still be left wanting more.

And since I started it, let me say "thanks" too. I think there may be some "bad weather" coming up in Daytona...

Vik, I understand a few of you guys are coming to our Rides Races Dogs & Dyno's to watch the race. The ride leaves around 9:00 (60 miles or so) and will be back for the race start. Hope to see you . ... Terry

Court knows who the radar operator is, and I think I have a pretty good idea too.

I hope he reveals that fact at Daytona in a month, as it will make a more credible story.

Glad to hear the testing went extremely well. Does this mean that Jeremy McWilliams is a for sure rider at Daytona then?

Jim

Not likely until "The Speedway" opens its doors for bikes.

February is a short month, and there's lots to do to prepare for a unique race, at a demanding track.
