Just checking the bore/stroke configurations of the new race bike and it appears to be really oversquare at 4.080x3.125 stroke versus our current 3.5x3.812 stroke but is also 1330cc's. I really like this size and the fact that it redlines at 8500 rpm. This would seem to be much easier on the rods/crank and it still produces 100 ft.lbs. of torque. I think everyone would like a few more rpms from our motors. I hope Erik and the boys will be producing replacement items for this engine and they will somewhat interchange with our current engines or how about crate engines like many car mfg's are doing. Does anybody have accurate information on interchangeability of these engines and what may be in the works? I also hope this isn't just a HD/Buell racing only effort. Remember many cars and bikes are sold by race on Sunday and sell on Monday. Thanks much, Bob

That bore is not possible with your stock cases.

The web between cylinders is at it's minimum with a 3.8125 bore. That is the 88in or 1440cc kit.

The claim has been made that all of the parts will be available through any Buell dealership.

XBRR engine will bolt up to XB chassis, but you need the XBRR ECM (open loop EFI), and as this is a race only motor, there is no warranty. Other stuff may need to be done, but the Buell racing effort will undoubtedly advance in the consumer realm as soon as they can reliably manufacture & distribute.

Hang in there, good things on the horizon.
