My bet is that the colors DO NOT get changed for Daytona.
No idea what the official stance is, but I'd demand, as a condition precedent to purchase, factory bodywork for this year.
Potential big time advertisers will want the bike to look just like the one in their advertisement.
Just a thought. . . |

All 50 XB-RR Buell Formula Xtreme racebikes scheduled for production were pre-sold to dealers at the Buell dealer conference held Monday in Texas. Though these limited production racebikes are still available from dealers that were lucky enough to get their hands on one.
How many of these will end up unused in 'collections' around the world? What a waste that would be. |

Positive measures will be taken to get early bikes and race tracks "connected".
The VR-1000 was an interesting collector bike.
The XBRR is a racing motorcycle. |

Yeah. To that I can attest. I can't even count how many conversations have started with "Did you know that the new XBRR has . . ." Odinbueller is definitly obsessed. And don't even get yourself in a room alone with Odinbueller and Mutation_racer.
Gotta love the enthusiasm though. :P |

i was at a buell meeting at canadian importers/dists .. last nite .. was told 4 units are sold allocated already - one to canada .. 1 to europe team & 2 to usa teams at this point. we are awaiting our delivery soonish ..
the other 46 units are coming to others after those initial 4 ..
there will be 2 teams from europe & at least 2 from usa at daytona .. we were urged to go if we can make it .. i am considering it now ..
of course this cld be spin .. they told us also that it has over 104 ft/ pd torque & 150 hp .. all quoted as being at rear wheel, as well as weighing 360 #s wet ..
thats what we hear up here. |
