Are you sure about that? Why would Buell want to announce too far ahead of time and give the competition notice?
Because you can anounce a bike, without giving much info on the bike
Its done all the time, info is slipped out, little to nothing just to give people something to look forward to, or to create more hype for an upcoming event
IE give people a reason to use there vacation
But i could be wrong

It would be cool to do a sort of knock off of the blue and white Buell race shirt....with some "enthusiastic customization". |

I vote Elves Style shirt. I co-worker's wife runs a spiffy embroidery outfit if one is needed. I've seen her work and it's VERY nice.

Well.. I would think a shirt would be nice.. I'll take one..
As a matter of fact.. IF they do release a true 'RR'.. There better be one at a dealer somewhere with my name on the thing.. or it's gonna get ...  Ugly..  Especially if it's got the right colors too it..  Blue and Black..  ..   ...
How much you wanna bet one of our fine dealer gang here is  already getting the paperwork warmed up for that one? .. Just in case..
I'll bet there'll be a line... Damn it!

T-shirts would sell. As long as it isn't just the standard, and tired, blue oval shirt again. But thats just my opinion. |

Court, bring the shirts with you to Daytona. If you have them at Vegasbueller's house on Friday night at the cookout, you'll sell all you've got, I bet. If you don't want to do that, then could you please bring one size L with you for me, and I'll be happy to wear it to the 200. |

All 3 pics are from a Japanese magazine called 'Buell Magazine'. I started a conversation via E-mail with a Japanese Buell rider and he said he would send me a few issues of the magazine. I half didn't believe him until they showed up in my mailbox yesterday. Very quality publication, too bad I don't read Japanese. I guess I'll read Playboy for the articles and look at Buell Magazine for the pictures. The issue that contained both images of Lucifer's Hammer 3 is pictured below.
Now I just hope the folks I'm carpoolin' up to the DC IMS Show Saturday don't read this and spoil their surprise.

If they are button up make it 1 L and 2 med

I didn't see the broadcast today. As usual I was busy selling bikes and parts!
I'll be at the dealer meeting so I guess I will see what it is. I can't wait to see what they have cooking. |

Last time I saw this much enthusiasm, HD hired Scott Russell (MR Daytona) and had the 200 won before the green flag dropped...Hell, they told him so as they bought him a shot of Tequila in Razzle's.......
Then he got beat up so bad his helmet didn't fit.
Let's wait and see, don't get everybody's hopes up. Even if Buell has a team and bike ready, it doesn't guarantee anything for 200 miles. It's still racing. Unless just showing up counts. |

Also notice it has a Ulysses muffler with its upturned exhaust outlet. I guess it could be a custom street bike (?).
