I'm starting to offload things I purchased for a project that never happened. I haven't gotten much traction on anything listed to BadWeb. I don't know if it is due to the PM system or not, but also no one has told me that my asking prices are unreasonable. I'm generally trying to offer BadWebbers prices that are a little less than what I would expect to see after Ebay's fees. But so far, I've only managed to move parts via Ebay, so we'll see. Hmm, the S1 is conspicuously missing from the galfer fitment chart. It only has these: M2 CYCLONE 2000-2005 M2 CYCLONE SPECIAL 1994-2007 S3 THUNDERBOLT 1998-2000 X-1 LIGHTNING 2000-2005 Which is odd, since the X1 and M2 weren't produced after 2002? So, I'm sorry but I don't know. | ||

After 98 they moved the speedo from the front wheel to the motor and they changed the rotor bolts from tapered to button head. So the rotors 95-98 use tapered bolts, 99+ use button bolts. The older rotors will fit on the 99+ but the newer will not fit on the older - button head bolts will hit the speedo. | ||

Hi Thunder, could you check if the holes used to bolt the rotor to the rim have the slot to house the tapered bolts? I had never taken it out of the box, the part number printed on the rotor was actually slightly different (DF 882 FLW), but based on Galfer's website, I think it's just a different revision of the same part fitment.    | ||

The five holes in the carrier (black part) are those used to bolt on the rim. Looks like the to not have the groove :/ | ||

That rotor will still work, if you like the rotor, just buy the button head bolts to use instead of the countersunk ones. | ||

He is right, should work. Get the button bolts. I looked at my 98 this morning and the speedo is opposite side of the rotor bolts. I apologize for incorrect information earlier. | ||

@Mhlunsford I looked again at the S1 fork yesterday, and I have a question; will the CA0001.Q button heads (or equivalent) have clearance enough? Looks like the distance rotor / right fork foot / caliper is a bit tight ... or am I overthinking this??! | ||
