At 42 yes. I tried some on my 98 S3 and found the old controls were a little wider and tight. I put some uly bars on same height but a little longer. I had the blast bars on a M2 but so narrow the clutch cable has a hard making the bend.

I read its doable on the X1. A lot of wire tie cutting is needed though. I finally found an X1 with the bars. Im going to get them. I did change to a Barnette clutch cable a few years ago. Funny how 20 years ago bikers didnt get Teflon coated cables for 12k

20 years ago engine sizes and ratings weren't what they are now, so everything else had to change up as well as well as the actual tech of small parts like a simple cutch cable. Think how far battery tech has come .Bikers had to maintain and did there own machines because dealers were robbers ,gouging the real bikers that kept HD from going under all those years. We all know the EVO motor was the best they ever put out. ,big twin and sporty and 2000 saw them make a backward step to the twink motor ,but had no choice to compete with the japs puttin out big in water cooled v-twins. EB could have chosen a different motor for his bike, despite bein an HD employee but didn't and in the end got screwed over by HD anyway. I have not ridden a rotax motor model ,but you never see any complaints about it on other forums and on bad web.I know a guy that does land speed runs on a modded blast and on a 650cc IRONHEAD SINGLE totally hand built by him. Hes definitely one of the best stroker builders anywhere. Anybody wants to check him/his shop out,PM me.
