2004 Buell Firebolt XB12R Black and Translucent Amber The time has come to sell my Buell. This motorcycle was THE bike I grew up saying I'd own one day, I was fortunate enough to get the exact color I dreamt of as a kid. I've owned the bike for almost 14 years and I've had a blast riding it. Now, my priorities have shifted and with a family to look after and spend time with, I haven't found much time to spend on it over the past few years. I thought it best to part ways and let someone else enjoy it. It's sad having such a fun motorcycle sit in a garage. The bike has 15,709 miles. The battery and spark plugs were just changed and she was topped off with a full tank of gas. Over the years, I've made a select few modifications and/or upgrades. As with any American V-Twin, my first change was a louder exhaust done by Special O.P.S. I've changed the gear selector to a billet aluminum version with a bronze bushing from Precision Engineering, and a Barnett Racing clutch was installed. In addition to the photos in this post, I've recorded a video walk-around while the bike was running so you can hear how healthy it sounds, especially with that exhaust. Watch till the end to hear a little rev. I'm also including an expandable storage bag made specifically for Firebolts, the bottom is molded to the shape of the passenger seat and velcros around it.
