Hey.
Can the rockers be used as spare parts for a pre rubber (2000) Sportster? How many miles are they in use?
I know ,the covers from an XB can not be used on my XL,but I could use
them as spare parts for my M2, which already has XB covers.
Would you ship to Germany?

XLDevil, the covers will physically bolt to the motor fine, but 03-under XL frames do not have clearance to remove the 1 piece uppers from the motor without removing the whole motor, thus the 3 piece design is inevitably the only thing that works in the stock frame. You can, however, drill the stock upper and mount a grommet and XB PCV valve, if your goal is the gain top mount breathers. Lafayette did this years ago on his Blast.

Hi Phelan.
Thank you for that good tip.
My Xl‘s breathers are routed into a catch can and that is fine for me.
I once tried to install the XB covers to this motor but, like you mentioned frame clearance was not enough.
I do not think to bore out or drill the upper covers is a good idea on my XL,because they are chrome plated.
I am afraid the chrome would chip off.
