I have this 2002 X1 set up for drag racing. Picked it up a little over a year ago and did the mods to go racing. Engine is STOCK. Mods I did were new Shinko tires front & rear (drag radial), extended older square tubing swingarm +10", Pingle rear strut, Brock front end strap, Moto style handlebars with Renthal grips, installed a used D & D full exhaust, converted to chain drive using new Zippers front & rear sprockets and a new RK530 drag chain, new Hammer Performance billet air cleaner with 3" filter, MPS lanyard kill switch, Schnitz LED shift light (that works erratically at best). Fresh powder coat on wheels and swingarm. New bearings in both wheels. I did hack the rear fender off to make clearance for the tire with the lower stance. My intention was to put a new inner fender tidy tail type set up that would be cleaner but just hadn't gotten to it yet. I brought the bike to the track twice since complete. Well, this is what I do. I get a bike & get it set up the way I want it and then I go racing two or three times a year. The more I look at the bike sitting I decide to sell it........then I end up with another project at some point doing it all over again. I have too many projects and not enough time or money. (Isn't this always the case though) I'd sell this one for $3750 or I may trade for a Buell S1 or a older Ducati Monster 900. I can email or text more pictures if needed.
