I'm genuinely happy for the buell riders that have the money to spend $100+ on some oem hand grips. They clearly made some good choices in their lives. I personally, will just have to stick to my $10 renthals haha.

It sounds like it, but that's what those grips always go for. They're actually listed cheaper than I expected, I feel like I usually see them closer to $125.

I bought a pair of those from our local HD/Buell dealer for $16.95 around 10 yrs ago. That was when Buell was still in business.

I don't buy 14 year old tires. 14 year old grips that have compression set and are less pliable for 100 smackers, no thanks.

Well . . . . I guess if we are going to play the "that's what I paid" game . . . I'm toss my hat in.

I bought a brand new 1995 Buell S2 Thunderbolt for $5.

I also saw . . . had no interest in buying . . . what the leftover Buell 1125's were sold for at the factory.

As someone said . . . . those were the days.

I put a set of NOS Traction grips on my 1190SX last year and had nothing but good experience with them. Even at their age they were still well pliable to my needs and didn't gum up quickly like other grips I've seen.

I still maintain that if EBR would have started making these grips again they could have kept the company going on grip sales alone.
