I wonder what kind of response I would get if I wanted to trade my Scg for an 1125CR: Cherry Bomb Translucid Red, 3rd owner, 4400 miles, new Diablo front tire to match the almost new rear tire, PA state inspected?

Has the crank pin been addressed?

What crank pin problem; do you mean the "It must be Buell's fault that so many, though there seems to be very few actual reported, cranks failed"? I've gone through the archives, read what I can find, and there is no definitive proof that there is a widespread issue with cranks failing. There is no documentation of how hard the bikes have been ridden, how frequently the oil has been changed, type of oil being used, storage environment, blah, blah, blah. If you have documented, verified examples, please share.

So I'll take that as a no.

You should go get the engine sleeved in your EBR while you're at it.

How much were you looking for the bike outright? I'm in the NEPA area and am considering looking for another XB. I don't want the lowered SCG, but I can be persuaded to raise it for the right price...

1324, Hypothetically asking about a trade; and I don't think you would be "persuaded" by an outright price

axlrose, decided I should keep the Scg and may buy a CR outright; they seem to be getting cheaper.
