I know, I know, not a Buell. This is an immaculate Tuono V4R purchased in September 2013 by the first owner in Maryland. This is only a two year old bike. I am the second owner and I purchased it at around 8000 miles. Unfortunately, I am forced to sell this bike as a result of unforeseen medical bills. If I was able to keep it I would. Currently around 10,700 miles.

Current aftermarket parts:
CRG shorty levers
GB Racing Case Covers
R&G Aero Frame Sliders
Woodcraft Front and Rear Axle Sliders
TechSpec Tank Grips
Aprilia Tank Guard

Additionally, there are almost new Dunlop Q3s with less than 800 miles on the bike. I also have a spare set of Michelin Pilot Road 4s that I was planning on putting on in the spring that I can include for $250.

All recalls have been handled by Aprilia dealers, the stator and coolant manifold were replaced around 6,000 miles, and the throttle demand sensor was replaced around 9000 miles. The only problem with the bike is a dime-sized scratch on the tank caused by a rock that was kicked up by a semi on the highway. It is pictured above. Other than that the bike is mint.

I am looking for cash first and foremost but I would be interested in partial trades. I'm open to most trades but specifically 2004+ RSV, 2006+ Tuono, 2006+ R6, Buell XB12/1125, 2006+ GSX-R750, or most Triumph triples (street/speed/sprint 1050). I would also accept partial trade for a track prepped 600. Suspension work on any bike is a bonus.

Additionally, I was asked to explain the nature of my medical bills by a member here, and he suggested I also add it to here so no one else wonders.

I owe $4000 to the hospital, that will head to collections soon, which is why I'm pressed to sell. I'm trying to avoid taking a cash loan to pay the hospital, as I do not have anywhere near that amount in cash. The bikes listed as partial trades are bikes that either go for close of what I would accept as a partial trade, or close enough I could squeeze out what I have saved. I would like to keep riding, and a partial trade makes that an easier option for me and a good option for someone looking to upgrade.

Located in Indianapolis, IN, will deliver within the midwest within reason.

I believe that as long as you send them something for your hospital bills monthly that they can't come after you for collection. It could be 10 bucks a month and they can't say anything. Better than selling your bike and having the bill go to collection.

I settled with the hospital for $10k, paid 6k cash up front and agreed to $333/mo for 12mo as that was the lowest they'd let me pay every month. I've called and tried to adjust rates, but they've told me that its not really an option.

Have you tried hardballing the hospital? If you threaten bankruptcy, they may be more pliable to allowing you to make smaller payments over a longer period of time. It looks like you've got a decent house, but they don't know that. Worst case, you can quit claim it to someone else if it does go to court, so that the hospital can't try to get it.

But, I doubt it will come to that--call the hospital, tell them that you just can't do $333/month and propose something lower. If they balk, ask them if it's worth losing that money entirely, should you declare bankruptcy. I bet they become more cooperative.
