Up for sale is a very low serial number Red 1998 S3T with 12k miles on it. It is serial number 003. I work for a shop in northern MN and we initially bought this bike with intentions of making it into a mutant buell rigid, but after doing some research into it, we couldn't cut it up. It has the Thunderstorm heads and cams. It also has the PM Chicane wheels. I've rode several newer Buells over the years, xb12r's and xb12s's, and I can say that this bike will keep up with them, if not beat them. Mechanically it is in great shape. The motor runs strong and the transmission shifts smooth. The only issues with the bike are the speedo was replaced recently and it has some cosmetic damage to the fuel tank due to the previous owner having some welding slag hit the top of the tank. Also he had started the bike without the air cleaner on, and due to a backfire it burnt the bottom side of the tank. Other than those minor issues its a great bike. I do have many pictures of the bike, as well as pictures of the damage to the tank. We do also have a racing shock for it that can be included as well. Asking $5,000.

For that price...chop it.

How much for the "racing shock"?

The bike is now carbed?

Ah, my mistake. I didn't realize that. I had an S1W with the TS heads and carb as well. I should've assumed this model would reflect the same setup.

I forgot to add obo to the end of the price. Yes it's carb, 98 was first year of the thunderstorm engine and last year of the carb. The shock goes with the bike.
