Housecleaning time so here's the old Useless for $1500. 2006, I'm the original owner and I put on quite a few miles - 93,000 to be exact. It needs some loving - canister, headlight wiring, rotate the motor and at least new valve guide seals as it's drinking oil like a wino with a bottle of Ripple. To do it right I'd put in a 1250 kit and an oil pump drive gear just to be on the safe side. Never dropped, doesn't eat belts, 2007 throttle body, hard bags, Lightning bars, brake line, cables and front fender, new tall seat, recent battery and stock ECM, K&N, Ferodo pads, that kind of stuff. Painted X1 Blue Stripe which is getting rough but that can be stripped off easily enough. It's been a good bike but I got my money out of it. Put a grand into it and you'll be good for another 75,000 before it's ready for a new engine. Bike is in Central PA. | ||

Yeah, put me in for #2. It's what I need for someone to build some confidence in fixing vehicles to decide if he really wants to go through 3 years of autotech classes. Would be god on my side because I already know how to work on these and can offer help. I'll get it out this weekend if that matters, just need the title notarized to swap the cash for bike and maybe help putting it in truck or trailer.
