For Sale: Red 2009 Buell 1125CR, 8/10, 8,400mi, Orange County, Ca

I am selling my Buell 1125 CR. $5,800 OBO. The bike has just shy of 8,400 miles at time of posting (will go up as I still ride it to work sometimes). The bike is bone stock with the following exceptions:

EBR stator rotor with oil jet installed

Stator rewound with better (higher temperature resistance) wires and epoxy.

Cycle Electric (CE) 605 SB series rectifier regulator mounted nicely under tail section with grommets. (Stock shunt-type voltage regulator is unhooked, but still mounted in stock position)

The electrical work was done just shy of the 7,000 mile mark, and i have not had charging issues since.

Not pictured on the bike:

Saddlemen's Gel Channel Track Seat. I just received this and have not had time to install it. Both seats will come with bike so you can choose which one you like.

Fender eliminator (tail tidy). Again, haven't had time to install it.

THE GOOD:

The bike runs flawlessly and all the infamous electrical issues of the 09-10 model years were dealt with with the upgrades listed above.

The tires are near new front and rear 90%+ remaining tread.

THE BAD:

Some scratches on right side heat exchanger inlet cover. I tried to take a pic, but you can't really see it. Hard to notice unless pointed out in person.

Scratches on right side of engine slider from previous owner. The slider can be replaced, I just haven't had time.

Both scratch areas are circled in one of the pictures.

ADDITIONAL INFO:

Here is a link tho the write up by hildstrom that me and the mechanic followed to upgrade the electrical system:

All work was done by R-Cal racing in Huntington Beach, Ca except for the stator rewind itself which was handled by Rick's Motorsport Electrics.

I have the title in hand. Test rides will be granted only if you have your M1 license and cash in hand.

I will not part out electrical upgrades.
No trades
