Consider this gel / dual surface finish, oem accessory low seat sold, if Hughlysses hasn't already agreed to buy it.

I'll need USPS International Priority shipping to Canada, but I'll cover the extra postal charges for shipping outside of the USA and will arrange payment through whatever method you prefer. Paypal etc...

I'm short and my 2010 XB12X is way tall, this seat would help big time.

Send me an email if you can :

Good for you, but be aware there is minimal height difference in the low seat and the standard 2007-2010 seat. It may not do you much good.

At 5'8" I'll gamble on a reasonably priced oem accessory gel LOW seat and worse case scenario, it gives me an extra seat to get fully modded someday down the road, with Rich's Custom Seats in nearby Washington State.

I've already tucked aside a German made Metisse rear shock lowering collar, a set of Rox Risers to allow room for the usd forks to slide up through the triple trees etc...

This 2010 XB12X is plenty funky enough, to go to the trouble of tweaking it, to fit my needs.

I have a "low" seat on my 2007 now; it was a used one with some cover damage from a garage fire (!), but it's functional. It didn't seem to make a detectable difference in my reach to the ground, but it is more comfortable and doesn't slide me up towards the airbox like the 2007 seat did.

And do away with the 47mm XB12X usd forks, I think not...

I've been mucking about with motorcycles since 1971, I'll be alright.
