I'm changing up the exhaust on my 09' 1125 this spring so I am looking to part ways with my current set up. Parts are available for local pick up or will ship from NY in zip code 11791.

The exhaust has about 5k miles on it, ECM has fewer than that...as if it mattered for the ECM. I do not have pics readily available only because bike is in heated storage. Everything is in great shape and I'll get some pics posted when I can stop by the storage unit.

Compared to the stock setup, this tune and pipe are absolutely vicious. It blew my mind and completely transformed the bike. Instant smile maker. This setup is arguably the best performing for your 1125.

Barkers Slip On
OEM Black Powder coating, black clamp, no significant scratches or scrapes (maybe a slight scuff of two from installing the clamp). Will include clamps and mounting hardware. Will work for all 1125R & 1125CR models.
Price: $300 OBO + actual shipping.

EBR ECM - Tuned for Barkers Pipe
EBR ECM tuned for 1125R and Barkers SLip On. It straight up works. This was installed in my 2009 1125, I am guessing it will work for 2008-2010 models.
Price: $225 shipped.

Note: It will cost me $95 to have EBR re-flash this ECM for my future exhaust setup. After shipping it to them, figure a cool $100. I'm not budging on the price for the ECM.}}}

Why are you replacing the Barker's?

I just want to try something new. No other reason.

ECM is sold. Barkers still available.

Hmmm... not sure why you would change to something new if it "transformed the bike"... and was "absolutely vicious". Is it significantly louder than stock? What is your goal with the new exhaust?
Sorry for so many questions, and I am interested as I was looking to buy a Barker's, but your sale of this unit made me stop to think (always a bad idea).

Do you have pics yet?

Haha. Touché. Here's the deal; I'm leaning toward more of a full race system and custom tune around it. Bike is going to see alot more track time this year and I want to squeak out every bit of power out of it I can. There is no other reason. Slipon is ready to rock.

I don't expect a transformation like swapping to this setup from stock; just looking for incremental improvements.

The slipon is much louder than stock. I can't tell you decibel wise, but it sounds okay at idle, and savage while riding. There are plenty of YouTube vids available.

If you haven't already, check out the exhaust shoot out American Sport Bike did a while back: http://www.americansportbike.com/Exhaust_Shootout. html

I'm stopping by the storage unit today. Will get pics.

Pics:

Close up of only significant visible imperfection:

Upper pipe section (header is ceramic coated, hence why its so grey):

There is an area beneath the clamp that the powder coat got all screwy. This is complete covered up by the clamp and not visible when installed.

Thanks for the pics. The clamp looks kinda purple in the pics... is that the actual color?

Would you take $225 + shipping? I know that is less than you were hoping for, but I assume with 5K miles it will need a repack soon plus the finish defects are unfortunate.
I would PM you but PM does not work for me on this site (can't even find anything that looks like a mailbox!). My email is:

mooselakedave@hotmail.com

Thanks!!

No problem, I shot you an email with additional details.

Re. the clamp; yes, it has apparently faded from its original black. I'm happy to repaint the clamp in high temp satin black exhaust paint for any buyer.

These pipes are known to go 10k plus miles before needing a repack. It should not need one yet, but I also do not wish to disassemble the pipe to inspect the packing. These are very easy to repack and replacement packing material is inexpensive.

The damaged powder coat beneath the clamp is victim of the clamp itself. I would guess that all of the powder coated versions have this "problem" as the powder coat is softer than the anodized aluminum clamp and aluminum muffler housing. As mentioned, these two spots are not visible when installed. Sure, you'll know these little rough spots are there, but I trust most sane buellers are riders, not showboaters.

Just checking in to vouch for the seller: I've repacked my Barker's and it's easy-peazy (make sure you have a rivet gun to install the cover).

You will not find a Barker's that is completely free of damage from that clamp... aluminum bodied exhaust can + sharpish edge on clamp = marring.

Wish it was for a CR! I sold my Barker's and ECM for the cash, now I want it back.

Jeepinbueller, thanks for your thoughts! I mentioned to Theothers2t that one of the main reasons I bought this pipe was because it was so serviceable. Pair that with awesome gains and its a mega win.

I'm sure you're aware, but the pipe will fit 1125R's and 1125CR's.

The ECM was for an R and is sold.
