The Prince

Ok, this is a basket case S3 - I call it "The Prince". It's the project at the bottom of my list and frankly I'd love to sell it and regain the space in my garage. if someone is looking for a project or donor, this one actually could be a good one. When I found her, she had just shy of 50,000 miles on the clock, ran but had a broken muffler mount. I bought her as a donor for Gloria, a fuel injected S2 but have acquired a fresher engine for her, so I put this engine back in the original frame. I have not opened the engine up, it was running when I got her and ran briefly in Gloria. If I end up fixing her up, I would re-do the top end due to the milage.

The frame is the original frame, the better, later style with the additional brace for the front reaction link. It has been freshly powder coated bright silver. With the Volcano Grey bodywork and grey wheels, she's like "50 Shades of Grey"'. Replacing the bodywork means I have corrected the number one problem with this bike as it is no longer f'n green.

the pRince

I also have installed the later dogbone bracket for the exhaust, and installed the latest style isolators.

I am asking $1000 as she sits to BadWebbers. I took all of the original wiring, ignition, and fuel injection stuff for Gloria, and most of the good 2000 suspension for Veronica. I do have the original FI header but not the muffler. The tank on her is an FI tank.

The title is clean, in my name, and correctly non-oped by state of California - no title issues. I actually have all the maintenance records back to when it was new, can tell you it was well maintained but suffered a couple of isolators failures during long tours.

Next Sunday is the Sacramento swap meet, and I will have a booth there - looking to unload this . I figure the engine is worth more than what I want for the whole bike, Other parts are available and negotiable - but I am only selling them to the person who buys this lump. After the lump is gone, I may have other parts available.

YUM. Thinking.. Are you coming to Roundup In The Rockies Round 2, and if so riding or trailering?

Oh, I'm definitely going - Maybe trailering, I haven't decided - that's a debate for another thread. Thing is - I expect this will be long gone before then. It's not about the money - it's about my garage sucks for space and this thing is so far behind the Panhead and the 2 S2 projects on my priority list.

If I don't get off of it at the swap meet and it's still available in July, I can probably drag it up there. You could put the caliper back on it then

Yeah I've been meaning to get it out to you but I've been "slightly" distracted. Thanks again for letting my use it : ). I just keep forgetting to order new pads for it to get it out to you.
