Purpony I didn't get a response to my questions in a PM so I'll ask here.... Will this work on a 96 S1 and approximately how much will it lower the saddle?

Hi tony.. I replied but it only showed a badweb address. Anyways as long as you have a 16.5 shock it will fit an s1. Lowered the rear of my x1 around 1 inch.

Purpony, I installed the mount last night on the S1 and it's perfect ! Lowered the bike 1 inch in the rear. Thanks!

Dualsport... to my knowledge the m2l shock mount is the same as all other tubers... it's the shock itself from the m2l that lowers it.
