The notch is there because on a Buell, that head's breather fitting is L-shaped and won't spin off without hitting the frame tube. So, they use a lock nut, and you slide the notch off the fitting after loosening the lock nut.   Blackm2 Posted on Sunday, June 22, 2014 - 09:44 am:        Do they have them at HD? That is what was on the S1 I picked up. Does your rear head breather fitting have a lock nut on it? If it does, put hylomar on the threads of the fitting, thread it into the head, and use the locknut to tighten it down. Leak should stop. You can also use hi-temp RTV if you like, to seal the threads...   Blackm2 Posted on Sunday, June 22, 2014 - 11:01 pm:        No the breather/catchcan system that is on the Cyclone now, which now has the S1 bracket with the notch, is bleeding oil mist out of the notch in that bracket and banjo bolt. Stuffing silicone in it is not the answer for me, I need that solid bracket. Switching to XB rocker covers is not what I need at this juncture either.
