Looking for OEM mufflers for a '95 S2 and a '96 S1.

Prepared to pay good bickies if I can find them.

Dang Gary, I just sold my nearly pristine stock muffler about 3 weeks ago!

I saw that, but you sold it to a good man so I wasn't upset.

I have a 1998 stock S1 Muffler
Could be a 1996.....
I've owned two 1996 S1's and a 1998 S1.
I think I replace the 1998 Muffler with the Race Kit exhaust on my 1998 so I'm thinking its a 1998 Muffler
I also have a 1999 Stock Muffler from a Thunderbolt

Michael, can you measure the inlet on that muffler? A '98 could be 2.5", whereas Gary needs a 2" IIRC.

Thanks Twobuells, that's encouraging and I'm interested. Please tell me more.

I'm guessing the '99 Thunderbolt muffler is S3? Is it the same as S2 and/or are the internals the same?

Am I right that the 1998 S1 muffler will fit a '96, and (I'm assuming here) have a 2 inch pipe to the collector unlike the 2.5 inch on the S1W?

Do the baffles and rust rattle around when you shake them?

Gary

I took the muffler off early in the bikes life. Its been sitting in my garage for about 15 years.
No rusty or loose baffles
2" inlet, my bike was a S1 not a S1W
the price I quoted you was with shipping and for just the one muffler

I'll dig up a picture and post one of the 99 S3 muffler. I do not think it will work with the older S2

S2 mufflers are unique. 2" straight inlet, no elbow.

The first 2.5" mufflers (98 S1W and S3) were stainless, not painted.
